About This Guide

Venessa Koch has researched and documented many of the filming locations used in Short Circuit, creating a guide that helps fans connect scenes from the movie to the real places where they were filmed.

Her guide includes Google Maps links, screenshots from the film, and important information for fans who may want to visit those locations in person.

Venessa has also personally visited many of these sites and documented a growing collection of then and now images showing how the locations look today compared to how they appeared in the film.

Then and Now Photos

In addition to the guide itself, Venessa has documented many of the locations with present-day comparison photography. These images help show how the sites have changed over time while preserving their connection to the movie.

Short Circuit 2

Venessa is also creating a similar filming location guide for Short Circuit 2. As a Toronto resident, she often visits the locations used in the sequel and has documented many more then and now images from those downtown sites.

The second film includes far more locations than the first, and many of them are concentrated in Toronto’s downtown core. This page can be expanded when that guide is complete.
